I put alot of thought

Into what have i learned the most thus far in my life...

The answer surprised even me.

I cant help but think of Jesus apostles who argued over which one of them was better... They were chastized by Jesus yet they were really good people. They left there jobs and families to follow him.
The rich prince who had all the faith in the world and wanted to follow Jesus but was turned away untill he sold his riches.

There is no group, job, religion, person, house etc. that will every truly make you happy.... Odd thought i know.

Happiness begins with changing and being who we are and who we should be.
We can have all the faith in the world and be faithful but if the person we are on the inside is wasting away it wont really matter.

When we become ok with the person we are then we add those other needed things into our lived to be fulfilled.
I imagine that is why people who are doing all the right things and making such progress in life can fall victim to addiction and self tragedy.

I think thats the danger in finding the right path. Your still you your just on the right path now. How much does that really mean? If your a serial killer but in a great marriage and you have faith in god and his promises does that mean your happy?

Work on yourself and the rest comes.

Selfish

For Whatever reason how much of a selfish society we have become dawned on me last night.
I think most would agree that the earth cannot sustain life going at its current track,Now that may be hundreds of thousands of years down the road but it still remains true, i dont think many people will dispute this fact. It is impossible to continue to pollute this planet and it not fall apart eventually. For the sake of those who like to debate lets say a million years in the future..
A thousand years ago humans were well humans. A thousand years from now humans will still be living breathing humans. If we admit that and admit both truths then think about peoples decisions.... do we get it? To admit that because of the actions of yourself and other people that at some point humans like you will all die off and to continue to do those things is incredibly self absored. If our kids or our grandkids were in danger  and ahd this fate we would certainly not do the things we do today in the way of polluting but because its some obscure face at some time in the future we really dont care. Amazing.
